Blue Palmetto Oceanside Villas

Had issues with the shower and while they tried to fix it it just never got hot. Luke warm at best but we still had a good time there.

Great location. Parking was always available. Everything worked great in the room. We bought a fan at Walmart to use in the room because of the other reviews that it was humid. We were very comfortable for a week. We also brought extra towels and did laundry since we were here for a week. Beautiful view from our room. Only saw one little bug in the bathroom but I was surprised that’s all we saw considering we are in the south!

The Blue Palmetto is a terrific place to stay. We arrived to a clean room with a comfotable bed and sofa. The small kitchen is well organized and we were happy to find the fridge has an icemaker. The view from our balcony is spectacular, but best of all, the people we've met have been extremely friendly and helpful.

This cute property was exactly what I needed. Great location, close to everything in regards to dining choices, and its oceanfront which is even better. I was able to sit on the balcony and have a front row seat to the most spectacular view. The room was nice, 2 queen size beds and 2 sofas, full size kitchen accommodations and a decent bathroom with a deep bathtub. Everything worked fine and I emailed the office to ask a question and received a prompt reply. Looking forward to my next stay!

They are trying their best to rehab this old hotel and are doing a great job! Our room was clean with brand new top of the line Samsung appliances, new shower insert, and fresh paint. The view from our 5th floor balcony each morning was AMAZING!(pictures included). They don't service your room during your stay, so if you're someone who needs an excessive amount of towels each day, bring your own. We had 2 sets a piece for 4 nights, which was plenty. The pool was clean, fresh, and inviting. There's a general store across the street in case you forget something. The owner is very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Blue Palmetto for about a week before we moved into our new home in MB. Is the hotel older? Yes....however, our room was clean and the view was amazing. Our air conditioner went out the first night we were there, and it was quickly replaced all together! We had no issues with bugs or dirtiness within our room at all. This is more of a long term stay place, not really the feel of a hotel. The staff was awesome and accommodating and everyone that lived/stayed there were welcoming and friendly as well. It looks like they are updating the building and rooms (saw lots of boxes in the front area). We would stay there again if the need ever came up.

We arrived yesterday & are staying for 10 days. We were so excited when we arrived & found our room SO CLEAN! My husband has OCD and he was happy too! Last time we came to Myrtle Beach, we stayed somewhere else and ended up spending our first hour there cleaning the room. We will definitely be staying here again.

Very accommodating, we arrived late and had an issue with our room. They immediately put us in a different room with no issues. Amazing view, and kind people. Thanks for a great vacation.
